Membership

Membership is open to all people with interest in the Havanese. You do not have to own a Havanese to be a member.

Individual Membership (Dues $15.00)

An individual member is a person who is at least 18 years of age, eligible to hold office and vote. You must own a Havanese

Family Membership (Dues $25.00)

A family member is any number of people living in the same household who are 11 years of age or older. Family memberships receive two votes. Both voters must be at least 18 years of age and in good standing. Family members who are at least 18 years of age are eligible to hold office. You must own a Havanese.

Associate Membership (Dues $10.00)

An associate member is a person who is at least 18 years of age, not eligible to hold office and may not vote. Associate members may serve on committees. This membership type is ideal for the person interested in more information on the breed. You do not have to own a Havanese.

Junior Membership (Dues $10.00)

A junior member is at least 11 years of age and under 18 years of age. A junior member may not vote or hold office, but may serve on committees. You do not have to own a Havanese.

To apply for membership in the North Star Havanese Club, simply complete our membership application which we offer in two formats:

The applicant agrees to abide by the Constitution & Bylaws, the Code of Ethics and the rules of the American Kennel Club. Accompanying the application, the prospective member shall submit dues payment for the current year and a signed Code of Ethics.
